Video will not record

- microSD card not inserted- microSD card not fully seated or is locked- Card is incompatible or corrupted

  1. Remove and reinsert the card, ensuring it clicks into place.
  2. Check that the card lock switch is in the unlocked position.
  3. Format the card using the system menu (MENU → Media → Format SD).
  4. Use a Class 10, 16–32 GB microSD card for best results.

No video feed / black screen

- Loose cable connection- Damaged cable or camera head

  1. Verify all cables are firmly connected to the control box and reel.
  2.  Inspect for cuts, kinks, or corrosion.
  3. Use the test cable (Section 7.5) to check if the camera feed returns.

Camera head self-leveling not functioning

Power off the system, reconnect cables, and restart. If issue persists, contact PowerWill Support for service.

Blurry or out-of-focus image

Camera distance or debris on lens

  1. Clean the camera lens with a soft cloth and fresh water.
  2.  Adjust the camera distance slightly while monitoring the live feed.

Cannot take photos while recording

System is processing video data

Wait for the system to finish processing or stop the video to capture still photos.

Video files too large or fragmented

Long recording sessions create large file sizes

The system automatically splits video files for easier playback. Use compatible media players or convert files to MP4 format.

Camera not waterproof / water ingress

- Damaged seals- Exceeded depth rating (>16 ft / 5 m)

  1. Inspect and replace worn O-rings or seals.
  2. Avoid exceeding depth limits during operation.

Push rod stuck at a bend

Pipe diameter too small or sharp turn

  1. Advance slowly while monitoring the video feed.
  2. If resistance is felt, gently retract the cable—do not force it.

No LED lights / weak lighting

- Battery low- LED dial turned down- Cable damage

  1. Charge the battery fully.
  2.  Adjust LED brightness using the control box dial.
  3.  Inspect cable for damage; test with a spare cable if available.

Locator function not detected (optional models)

Incorrect or incompatible receiver

Use a compatible 512 Hz receiver (PowerWill CRS12R recommended) for accurate locating.
